The Photograph

I made this sunrise photograph in October 2010 at the Toronto
Waterfront with a Phase One P40+ digital back and Phase One
75~150mm lens at 150mm. The panorama consists of three
photographs seamlessly stitched in Adobe Photoshop CS5. The
quality of the image detail and tonality satisfies expectations
from medium format digital technology, an impression of which
can be had from the enlargement of a small snippet (to the
right, showing "CIBC"), representing about 2.5 inches of the
five foot width.

The Print

The panorama is 5 ft wide, 16 inches tall. It is printed either
on Ilford Gold Fibre Silk or on Canson Baryta Photographique in
an Epson 4900 printer using the Epson Ultrachrome HDR inkset.
Both of these papers have been tested for longevity. Based on
available data for the same paper and a similar inkset, the
image can be expected to remain completely stable for well
over 100 years, depending on display conditions as indicated in
the tests referenced on the paper manufacturers' or testers'
websites (Wilhelm Research and Aardenburg Imaging. The print
is offered un-mounted.

The Offer

At present there are three artist proof copies of this image:
one in my private collection, and two that were given as gifts
to their current owners in Germany.

I shall print, on order, up to 12 copies, comprising the
complete edition of this image. The price per print is $ CAD
400. This price includes packaging in a solid tube and shipment
with a tracking number to any address in the world where
traceable shipping is available. Any customs, clearance and
brokerage arrangements and costs are the purchaser's
responsibility. I shall include a commercial invoice with the
shipment. Each print will be signed and numbered on the back,
and accompanied by a certificate indicating the name of the
photographer (me), image title, print number, date printed,
location and owner.

one week of receiving it at your expense for a full refund less
outward shipping cost.

This image was also made with a Phase One
P40+ medium format digital back and the
Phase One 75~150mm lens at 150mm.

It was converted to grayscale and toned in Nik
Silver EFEX Pro 2.

It is printed in an Epson 4900 printer using the
Epson Ultrachrome HDR inkset, on Ilford Gold
Fibre Silk paper 13*19 inch sheet, of which the
image itself measures app. 11 * 14 inches.

I shall fill orders up to 12 copies of this
image, at a price of $CAD 200 each. It is
unframed and not matted. Payment, shipping
and return conditions are as written above.

This print will also be signed and numbered on
the back and a certificate as described above
will be included with each print.
